i currently have a t50 tranny bolted up to a 13t and was wondering what transmissions could i upgrade to if i swapped in a 2tg or an 18rg without modifying the bellhousing or bolt pattern? would the 18rg fit into the t50 tranny with no problem? tried researching but haven't really found anything relevant. tnx for the help!

The T series and R series have a different bellhousing bolt pattern. Any T series engine will bolt up to your T50, but if you upgrade to an 18R-G you'll need a new transmission as well (W50).

If you update your gearbox to the later Supra style W55/57/58/59, you can use factory bellhousings to suit either the T series or R series engines easily with the same gearbox.
