Drifting Finds a home in Sydney! Thu, 18 December 2003 03:54 Go to next message
I found this thread on Performance Forums. What do you guys think.

http://board.performanceforums.com/forums/showthre ad.php?s=&threadid=67167690

For anyone who cant get to the link this is what the guy wrote.

Its about time Sydney had a proper drift club, so Initial Drift Australia was born...

Initial Drift Australia, Inc. (IDA) is a non-profit organisation formed to help support, foster and promote the motorsport of drift in Australia as well as the communities that surround it through the organisation of events, activities and competition throughout Australia.

In 2004, IDA plans to offer a wide range of activities for it's members including, but not limited to, driver training, skid pan sessions, charity events, competition and demonstration events plus much more. A full calendar of events will be made available in January.

For IDA news and event information, please log on to www.initialdrift.com.au. The rest of the website will be up soon but you can still find lots of info there for now.

Cheers
Andrew

One can't help but compare the name with 'Initial Dee' ... Rolling Eyes

Pity about Queensland but most race tracks have a closed mentality to the sport due to a few knobs who ruin the reputation of the sport for others ...

Good luck organising drift days in Sydney ...
