the 4age rwd engine whats the estimated power @ wheels now you think without the broken items ? ? is the rev limit still around the 7500rpm ? can this engine run on the stock bigport ecu ?

so how much do you think it would cost to think that trueno front up ?

Re: Girlfriend said its got to go SALE Thu, 18 December 2003 21:15 Go to previous messageGo to next message
Sprintr i would have to say that its making a few more KW's with a fixed exhaust, so probably around 64-65 KW mark. Engine can rev to 8, and can still run on a standard bigport ECU. As for the trueno front lip, would probably cost about 600 to make look like new, so its still cheap for a trueno Front.

Sprintin i have no idea the cost to freight to brisbane, probably a couple of hundred or more, ring some freight companies im sure they can tell you.

1 FWD 4AGE in great condition 7 rib block bottom end, bigport top end $300

Hey I may be interested in the above engine, just a few questions though...

I am looking to convert a 4AFC to 4AGE so apart from the EFI mods what else would be required to get this engine running i.e. electrical systems, wiring loom etc? And is this included with the engine?

This will be my first conversion so apart from what I have read on the forums i'm still pretty new to this.

Anyway please reply or PM me if you are interested. Thanks...

Hi Conquest
The engine is complete, has all electrical components except loom and computer. i will post a picture tomorrow, although i have a computer for sale also,
A loom can be made up fairly easy. The engine was baught from a wrecker and not by me, so the internals and amount of K's on the engine are unknown, and would be best to give a rebuild before installing to ensure nothing will break. But having said that it looks in really good condition and would probably be fine.

Ill vouch for the quality of the rebuilt engine, it will have barely been run in and would be an ideal transplant for anyone looking to upgrade thier C or FE/C, at $1K for the work that was done to it, its a steal!

Hi Steve
I wont say no to someone buying it, it doesnt have a clutch or loom or computer, You can use your existing bigport setup, will bolt straight in, no hassles half a day job. I also have a Fueltronics chipped Bigport Computer For sale, good for some more power has a good fuel map, doesnt run as rich.
