well the most recent update is that i just recieved a beautiful yellow sticker (defect notice) from the boys and girl in blue at my own house..!! the front bar was made by wasv in perth..
might take it off and put the std bar on.. not sure yet..
i took it to get inspected today and the inspector said it was sweet and just to get the speedo and reverse lights working and take the tint off then he will give me permits for filter, bov, intercooler, exhaust and boost gauge..so i got just under a month to do all that shit...im only really worried bout the speedo.. i got a feeling that will be pricy..

The speedo problem can be one of 2 things, the sender or the display, if it's the display you can have them rebuilt reasonably cheaply buy a guy called Ron on 02 9621 8190,

But if it's the sender you need to order a new one from Toyota and that will cost almost $600,, Confused

most recent updates are:
i have got the yellow sticker off, with permits for everything. a new clutch has been installed and also a new diff. i had the car dyno tuned and it put out 349.4BHP @ 6000rpm.
so yeh i am fairly happy with its result!!
i think now is a good time to spend a bit of $$$ and time on the exterior, like saving for a respray and getting side skirts.
cheers az

most recent update is that i have destroyed my gearbox and since then i have taken the car off the road for a few months.
i have now purchaced and installed another gearbox, custom stainless steel high mount manifold, gt45 turbo, 50mm external wastegate.
the wiring in the engine bay has be redone and everything is neatened. all im waiting for is the dump pipe to be made and to get a retune. then she should be sweet again.
haha cant wait.

just curious, what colour is your car?

what horsepower does the 4cylinder soarer push at the rear?

I'm new to this forum and the soarer, recently just bought mine and still learning.

thanks

It *might* run on 4 cylinders. But there will be still 6 pistons moving Rolling Eyes

HAHAHA
reminds me of the other week
This guy was telling me how he could keep up with me
proudly stated that his is a 4 litre six(XF falcon i think)
and that mine is just a pissy 4 cylinder
had to inform him that mines a 2.5 litre straight 6 twin turbo and he can try and keep up if he likes
go the pissy 4 cylinder soarer
EDIT: was an EA falcon sorry
