Don't think this guy knows alot about what he proclaims to.

Reference to his first paragraph, obviously HP will change with different tyre/wheel combinations. It doesn't take a genius to work that out, just someone with only one eyeball to see the different circumference and you'll know the reading will be different as torque application will be different.

He says "most non-professionals don't want to be yanking engines to use an engine dyno", yeah like this guy's got time to remove his complete engine everytime and set it up just to make an adjustment, pfffft. He wouldn't have time, too busy pulling other things! Surprised I dont see many guys sitting atop their engine in a engine dyno cell having a mad blap do you? Not to mention all the other loads not being present on the engine like power steering, alternators, inefficient cooling, a gearbox, differential, etc etc.

I'm sure its not needed to point out the logical reason we use chasis dyno's to tune and obtain a increase in power whilst maintaining optimum variables like A/F ratios to ensure longevity.

But if he wants to dis-credit the accurate scientific tuning tools his competitors use to maintain a customer base, thats fine he can go back into his cave with his spanner money buddies.
