3TGTEU ---------> ST141 Corona Questions

Hey guys just a quick question regarding whether or not this engine bolts straight up to my existing engine mounts or not.
Also, If I were to put this engine into my rona, would I have to upgrade the rear brakes (ie I have rear drums).
If I were to buy a half cut, which gearbox would I more than likely get (W5x) etc etc
Furthermore, I have seen an imported rona with this engine, and have been told by a mate that this particular engine infact does bolt in straight away, just making sure....oh yeah and what is the going rate for a half cut with the goodies too
Cheers...Matt

sorry, dunno about the engine mounts, but a manual front cut should come with a W55 box.

If you buy a corona front cut (TT144) then you will get everything. I think the corssmember would be a bit different, you could just cut and weld your one where needed. The same issues aply with this as will any conversion, and the engine does fit in that car (it was a factory thing). The rear brakes do not need changing. I would recomend you upgrade to vented front disks, off a RA65 celica or something similar.
