If you want good flow then id be doing some serious investigation in to just how good a truck intercooler will be before making a decision

hey its the man himself!
yeah i heard truck cores dont flow very well...
do you remember who it was that went to micks metal craft?
i might have a talk to him...
flynsx reckons his gze stock made 4psi so if mine is making 7-9 it might not be a stock pulley...
ah well
cheers

NVD05X: Hey, IRA11Y told me u wanted info.
Yeh generally ~6-8psi is what you expect from a stock gze depending on what generation you have. i.e AFM or MAp etc.
Yeh i got my i/c piping done thru Mick metal craft and its great.
You want an intercooler which most importantly has good flow characteristics. A few good ones are RX7 series 4 or 5, supra 7mgte or 1ggte i/c, and 3sgte air to air. Autospeed did a review couple yrs back.
Also make sure ure i.c piping diameter is just right

thanks dude... i've heard that micks metal craft is a bit expensive... but i guess if you want quality, you have to pay for it...
did you get them to make a custom one for you or did you use one from that list?

everyone who hasn't used one said they were crap... but how do these people know.
i talked to a few people in town about them and they said they were good.
anyway. my plans changed with this truck cooler.. if you want to buy the whole thing off me it's your for $350ono + postage.
