dont bin it as thats illegal
(since when do we care about legalities i dont know)
just put it in some milk cartons or whatever bottle u got and go down to your local garage and ask them if its kool if u pour it down their oil drainer
i doubt theyd be tightasses about it...and if they try another one cause seriously it not a hassle

I prefer just to mix it in with the soapy water when it runs down the road after ive washed my car. Eventually finding the drain but killing two birds with one stone.

Two birds? Don't forget the fishies and other marine animals.

Store it in a container and for small quantities you can drop it off at oil recyclers for free. I store all my waste oil in a 44 gallon drum, and when it becomes full call the same oil recyclers to come and pump the oil out and take it away - also for free. They will charge you to take the whole drum and oil away (as they sat they have to pay to have the drum crushed), or they will come out and pump it out of the drum for free.
Generally, the oil is not recycled into reprocessed oil products, but actually used for bunker fuel.
