D1 Grand Prix - Option DVD twin pack ***SOLD*** Tue, 23 December 2003 15:10 Go to next message
Up for grabs is an Option DVD video pack - volume 100 to be precise. This is not available in Australia and is the genuine item (in other words, Japanese audio with no subtitles).

This was released in 2002 and celebrates 100 video volumes of Option video. Hence the twin pack released as such:

http://users.tpg.com.au/adsl6ii7/Opta.JPG

The first disc covers Round 3 of the 2002 D1 Grand Prix at Sugo where all your fave Japanese drifters like Nob, Ueo and Nomuken etc participate.

I have seem many drift videos but none can beat this one in all honesty. I am sure some of the screenshots would testify to this:

The second disc covers the better (& worst) moments in the past 100 volumes of Option video ... some such as:

Low riding in the streets of Tokyo
http://users.tpg.com.au/adsl6ii7/Opt6.JPG

Dream cars like the Blitz R34 at the Numerburg
http://users.tpg.com.au/adsl6ii7/Opt7.JPG

Smokie in the Top Secret Supra at over 300 km/h on the UK M1 motorway - he spent a night in jail before being deported
http://users.tpg.com.au/adsl6ii7/Opt8.JPG

Usual Japanese monkeying around - here's Tarzan getting his dues
http://users.tpg.com.au/adsl6ii7/Opt9.JPG

Usual J-Gals
http://users.tpg.com.au/adsl6ii7/Opt10.JPG

And the price of your removable wheel becoming detached at over 100 MPH? ... PRICELESS!
http://users.tpg.com.au/adsl6ii7/Opt11.JPG

Asking price for both DVD's is $60 and an extra $7 for postage anywhere in Australia. Won't separate as they come in a pack.

Cheers all!

The DVD's appear to be sold - just giving AE86Drift time to complete the transfer however if it does fall through (unlikely though), I'll advise everyone who's shown interest.

Given it's the Christmas break, things may be going a whole lot slower ... Smile

Cheers!

Sorry fellas ... Jase was the first to respond to the second round offer made to all those people who've shown interest initially and he has apparently transferred the money over the weekend ...

Not going to make this into a bidding war ... $67 is all I asked for ... Smile

If it falls through, I'll email everyone again ...

Cheers!

Wind86 - you were the second one however I did send you a subsequent email which was addressed to everyone letting them have a chance to get the DVD's. It was based on a first response, first serve basis as explained.

I doubt you'd be able to find this particular DVD set here in Australia celebrating 100 volumes of Option video's - it's a special feature hence the double DVD's.

Rice Barn now do stock Option DVD's however they are from volume 115? onwards and are just the plain ones. They are yet to stock D1 Grand Prix competition DVD's that cover the whole competition and not just 10 min highlight snippets.

Yeah ... it'd also be cheaper but it'd only be a single DVD.
