ok Has any one had to get a syncro for a blacktop ae111 gearbox
my second syncro is like so near gone and i need to get a new one i asked toyota to help and they couldnt be bothered. and my mates at auto one cant get everything eles but syncro's so has anyone got any ideas were to get them or has got them from some were please help thanks i want to get 2nd and 3rd to if i can as they are the two to go the most.

suspenion i am getting my rolla lowerd and i got a price of kingsprings i have heard they are a bit of a bumpy ride but they performe well has anyone got any other brands to reccomend and were to get it done the king springs ppl were in penrith they were gonna charge 1100 for four new struts and springs and installation is this a good price ???

What do you mean when you say that toyota couldn't be bothered? That's pretty slack of them. If you want I can give you the part number for the syncro and you can take that to them. Then all they have to do is punch it in and give you a price. Or you could just replace your entire gearbox.

Are they quoting you on adjustable suspension?, thats expensive if it is for low king springs and shocks, it should cost around $600 fitted. Kyb makes good parts also that are used in race cars and its reasonably priced. I personally have changed the front bushes to nolathane and got king springs and monroe GT gas shocks, i really tested them out last week, racing through the twisties on the old pacific highway and the car handled like on rails. Very Happy

Heres some info i found:

Struts [ST, GT, GT-S]
KYB - OE replacements geared more towards performance
Monroe - OE replacements geared more towards comfort
KONI - performance adjustable dampeners
GAB - performance adjustable dampeners
