Where to get a full set of RUBBER bushings for a ra23

called up toyota the other day about a full set of standard bushings for my ra23. after being given a horrable price for small lumps of rubber i started to ring elsewhere. but everypne wants to sell me polyurethane (spelling) which are susposed to be harsher than standard rubbers according to you guys.
Because im leaning towards a more comfortable ride at the moment i thought standard rubber would give a better smoother ride, or is there little or no difference?
Anyway does anyone know of a good place to buy bushings at reasonable cost? I am putting these in myself so anywhere in australia is fine
thanks in advance
Daniel

Track down a "Kelpro Rubber" Catalogue in any parts supply store. I'd suggest a harsh ride has more to do with spring and shock selection than bush selection in a Macpherson Strut front end also.

thanks for the replys guys i will check them out. I understand that springs and shocks make the ride what it is but if i can make it a bit more compliant with using rubber bushes i would prefer to use them.
Thanks

Depends on the placement of the bushs and the type of car on early celicas and supras the subframe is solidly bolted to the body where as the MA70 and on the subframe has its own bushes thus you can go poly everywhere besides the subframe and have very little extra NVH issues but get lots of handling gain.
On an early celica I would say anything that mounts to the body replace with new rubber if you can and the ends the bolt to sprung items like anti-roll bar ends, and rear link's at the diff you could replace with poly to help stiffen things up (the rubber bushes will ware quicker tho) but it will remain quite and fairly refined inside

When you acquire your new bushes can you tell me where you ended up getting them?
Cheers
