i am in the midts of this conversion into my ae86 and could really use a wireing diagram for the ae111 black top .
can anyone here help?

thoes links are verry helpfull but i need the factory diagram from the repair manuals ...anyone?

You may need to talk to Toyota and get them to get you the info you need, or ask some of your local importers if they can help, surely someone will help you?

i am doing this at the moment as well i found the whole black top engine manual on the net i'm pretty sure it has it in there. how does yours look

the blacktop loom isn't all that hard once you strip out all the un-necessary stuff, you are left with basically JUST the engine loom from the blacktop after all the other garbage is removed, and then you simply splice this into your existing body/ignition/charge looms. Took me about 3 nights after work to do, but I checked every wire in the loom... The thing fired first go with all the instrumentation etc working perfectly.
The padandwheels site is very good, there's only a couple of mistakes there in his pinouts which are pretty obvious when you check your loom with the multimeter.
Mine went from a mess like this:

To a much neater "plug and play" harness like this:

The extra wires in the pic near the ECU were integrated into the F2 plug for the body harness, it turned out extremely neat in the end, just like factory.
