I've been in contact with Toda Racing Australia about a set of valve springs for a 4age (16 spring set), they quoted $220 each.
BUT, if i do a group buy, they will offer the following.
15% discount for 3~5 sets purchased.
That is $187 per set of 4AG(16v) valve springs
Total purchase amount: $561 to $935 + freight
Saving = $99 to $165 dependant upon quantity purchased.
For 6+ sets of springs would receive a 20% discount.
That is $176 per set of 4AG (4valve) valve springs (Purchase of 6+ sets)
Total purchase amount: $1056 + freight for 6 sets
Saving = $264
Two sets already on the order, so we only need 1 more to get 15% off.
If any one is interested, email me at charlie@dart.net.au

-Which version of the 4AGE is this for?
-What performance gains does it offer?
-Is the saving really worth it?
-What other mods would you need in place to maximise it?
-How hard/easy are they to install?

I'll try to answer these as best i can, correct me if i am wrong.
-Which version of the 4AGE is this for?
All, i think.
-What performance gains does it offer?
Very hard to say...
The reason why i was looking at them is because im building a revy 4ag, they are made from higher grade materials, i believe they are stronger, this is what Toda say;
TODA valve springs allow maximum lift while preventing
valve float which can occur under high rpm, high
lift conditions.
-Is the saving really worth it?
i believe so.
-What other mods would you need in place to maximise it?
im using a set of Wade cams, 267deg. duration. Ill be reving it pretty hard, hence not using standard valve springs.
-How hard/easy are they to install?
i believe they are simple to install, but it depends on your mechanical skill(dont get me wrong, i dont believe im very talented, just brave enough to do it myself).
have a look at the workshop manual to see whats involved in pelacing valve springshttp://www.toymods.org.au/cgi-bin/photo/index.cgi? mode=view&album=/TechDocs/4age_book/engine/5_c ylinderhead

I don't want to interfere with a group purchase, but did you know there's a valve spring manufacturer that gives Toymods members a discount? Check out the sponsors section of the toymods website.
I bought a set of 4AGE springs for around $120.
