4age intake temp sensors

On map engines , bigport 4age's and 4afe's there is a temperature sensor on the airbox , this there a way to tap into it and determine the temperature of the intake air.
Obviously the ECU uses this sensor to adjust fuel ratios and such , but I would like a guage or display or soemthing hooked up to tell me the intake temps, specially since its summer and volumetric efficency is out the window.

Why not just grab one of those digital thermometers with a thermocouple on like a 2m lead, and install that in your car? They're usually not that expensive

You've gotta think outside the box....
Yes, DSE or Jaycar sell little temp sensors that have reasonable length leads.
