Whats the difference b/w ra23/8 and ra40 rear springs/rear assembly?

Hi
Im just wondering if anyone can tell me the difference between the rear assembly of the ra23/28 and the ra40/60? I was under the impression that they were the same shocks and springs but have been told otherwise. Does anyone know what the exact differences are?

yeah thats what i thought too norbie, thanks. but the guy at pedders (the only suspension place that seems to be open before the 5th) ensured me that they were different...
