I have finished turboing the ke20 and broke the star gears in the diff- While taking the Diff appart i noticed that the axles were huge (compared to my ke10) the axle actually steped up to the spline- not steped down. I brought what i thought was a ke20 axle as a spare and it steped down to the spline.
So is this a ke20 diff in my car or perhaps a ke30? it is still 4x110 and looks identical to the ke20 at the local wreckers. Removing the axles was a bitch of a job- the bearings were well and truely seised, so i dont think the diff in the 20 has been swaped recently.

i just changed the center in my KE10 diff after loosing some teeth off the same gears. the main part of the axle was DEFINITELY larger than the splined section... the KE30 diff housing is wider and is not 4x110.... afaik, the KE20 diff housing is still wider than the KE10 housing.
send me a pic and i'll try and identify it.
oh, what size gears do you have?? i currently have a 4.222 5.7" centre, but have had KE30 6" centres in there before.
