I bought a later model 2tg recently (yamaha head) not sure what head number code it is, cos its blank.. anyway, i want to put my extractors on it.. my extractors came from my earlier 2TG, head number 11111-88222.. i tried fitting them and they dont fit, is there a size difference between the two heads?? i thought all 2TG heads were pretty much the same?
thanks

Very strange
My understanding was all the 2T, 3T, 2TG, 3TG manifolds interchanged.
What exactly is causing it not to fit?

Just that the bolt/stud pattern on the head is bigger than the one on my manifold.. its the same pattern but just wider on the head i dont get it

also just reading your thread again you said no head numbers it could be a yoshimira head they were rare they had heaps more ribbing inside than std heads they were mainly used for racing and might have had different stud pattern

CelicaRA45, im not quite sure yet, but im going to have a closer look today..
i know that there were only a few made of the 2tg heads but had only 11111-BLANK printed on the front of it, but this "yoshimira" head you speak of, do you have any information about it? ive never heard of it
