what mods have you got and how many kms on engine?
to start, cold air induction, 3" exhaust and a little more boost, say10psi. If you have done a fair few kms, the turbos may go at 10psi. That is what happened to me anyway. Should get just over 130rwkw with these mods.

your idea of "very little money" must be different to mine... my idea of very little money means he couldn't afford the $1k for a 3" exhaust.
CAI is definitly a good idea, and very cheap to do yourself, consider a k&n drop in panel for your airbox
and, as mentioned, a little more boost

you should be able to get a 2.5" exhaust all the way through, with a 3" dump pipe, for a little over a grand (depending on what sort of cat/muffler you go for)
if you want to do a CAI setup, put a k&n panel filter in, and some piping from outside the engine bay directly into your airbox. Depending on the setup of your airbox, you can either pipe it direct to the stock air box intake, or you can block that up, cut a new hole in the side/bottom of the airbox, and pipe your intake to there
edit: spelling gremlins

nope - AFM is after the airbox, so it's still detecting the total volume of air coming in.
The only thing that's changing is the temperature of the air coming in (cooler air occupies less space, hence you can get more air through your system without changing anything else)

Great, for the boost will I need to install some sort of bleed valve?
(probably a stupid question)

yep, but that's really cheap (like $70, or about $5 if you know how to make one yourself)
if you're going to do this, I recommend you invest in a boost guage (unlike my brother, who just turns the ebc till it feels good, and turns it all the way up when dragging)

yep do those very cheap mods first.
I think you should be able to get a larger exhaust for less than what you said. I got my 3" mandrel bent exhuast for $900 with a 3" cat but no fancy shiny muffler
remember, just because it has some jap brand on it doesn't mean it is any better.

If you do the exaust your self it will cost you about $250-300 as for the CAI put an after market ecu on it and get rid of the AFM all together you wont have to put any more boost in to feel the differance
P.S I run an EMS ecu on standard boost and have about 160rwhp
