mx83 7mge cams are different to ma70 7mge cams which are different to ma70 7mgte cams
mx83 7mge cams were optimised for low to mid range torque
there is a thread here somewhere between ed and I discussing this very subject

but the cams are interchangeable right?
My supra ones are in good nic, and the cressidas not so much so, and its vica versa for the actual head condition.

V8_MA61, you might need to adjust the valve clearance's when swapping the cams over? I'd check them anyway while you have the thing pulled to bits.
