Hi fellas
I have just finished putting a 1ggte in my ra23 and I dont know how long my diff will hold up so I was hoping you could help me with your knowlage on this subject,
I am looking for a straight bolt in job it doesn't matter if the diff is longer as I have 30mm spaicers on the ass end of my car I was thinking of a BW out of a holden (maybe)
Thank you

Yep, no such thing as a straight bolt in, or anything close. Most people adapt a Hilux diff (G series) or a Corona MkII diff (F series) which is what I'm doing. Both of these are a similar width to the Celica diff so there's no need to shorten them.

Or for the more daring there's always the R31 Skyline option I, and others, have probably already said enough about this, so hit the magic search button

While the axles and crownwheel/pinion aren't all that strong, putting in a not too violent lsd centre will see the t series lasting reasonably well, as long as you aren't a burnout queen.
Other than that you are looking at a conversion of some sort.
T series lsd's are available, but not cheaply.
