hey guys is this possible??
to take a 4wd drivetrain from a st185 and bolt him onto a st184??
i have no idea, this may even be a retard question but i've never heard it being discussed so thought i'd ask.

Forget it.

It would be cheaper to sell your ST184 and buy a proper GT4.

Modification to floor pan, fuel tanks etc... would be a nightmare.

The price difference between a ST184 and ST185 is about $5-$6K. This is much much cheaper than you could hope to do the conversion for.

cant be done ..

youd have to totally refabricate the chassi mounting points and other bits as per mentioned - which is a waste of money ..

your better off buying a Gt4 outright

You'd probably have to buy the whole floorplan of an st185 and try to graph it to your st184.
There are two N14 Pulsar SSS in Adelaide that has had a Pulsar GTiR driveline graphed to them.
IMHO it would be alot easier for you to just sell your car and buy a real GT4.
