What does it need for NSW rego?
What colour, and general condition of body & interior?
(ie straight, shopping trolly dings, major damage?)

ok,the body is basically straight,there's nothing missing.
the only damage is some slight distotion of the radiator support from a previous accident. nothing major at all.
the interior has the usual sun damage,and is all original excluding the front seats which have been retrimmed in black velour and vinyl.
the engine is a std 18rc,which is a bit rattly. it needs a timing chain replacement,the parts for this are included.
gearbox is the std 5 speed,and the std drum brakes,and open diff are out back.
the paintwork is pretty average. it was sprayed recently by a 1st year apprentice friend of the owner,and as such isn't the best. the original colour is dark blue;it's currently a sky blue colour.
for rego it'll likely need the rust cut out of the hatch,the timing chain replaced,and a general tidy up.
the car is parked at my place over Bondi way.

I don't have any pics available atm,as the owner is sick in bed,and is the only person who's offered me the use of a camera atm.
when I can get a hold of one,I'll post up pics of the car.
the easiest way to see it atm is to just come over and look in person.
the car IS driveable,but you'd want to do the timing chain pretty quickly as it's very rattly.
it has qld rego until May this year.

$500 it's an absolute bargain thats a certaintity.
I had a look at it the other night.
the rust in the tailgate(liftback) is bad but over all the body is nice and straight.

What was the interior like? was it ripped or just a bit faded? Is the only damage to the body the rear hatch and the radiator support. Is there any other problems with the celica? does it have the badges still?

I have a perfect condition hatch with perfect rubbers and demistor. it is painted in rust proof paint.. make me an offer as it wil be a better option than cutting the rust out.
