umm....im not sure if youd be able to hold the ring up in front of her cause from my experience the instructors tell u to keep your arms back....however they are taught and skilled to deal with ppl who hold their body positions wrong etc so im sure if u asked nicely theyd let u..
umm....i spose u could tie the ring case to your arm...very tightly.....and glue the ring into place in the casing with some liquid cement

Just wanted to be the first.
A mate of mine I used to work with proposal made the local papers. He lived on a farm and spent some time with a lawn mower in the back paddock, then had previously organised a day flight in a cessna around the area. During the flight the pilot flew over the farm and the words "DEB WILL YOU MARRY ME" were mown in the paddock each letter measuring 10m high x 4m wide.
That was cool. Otherwise...

With a little bit of cordination you could do this...
go out with some mates early one morning with a few hi powered cars and new tyres and write "(insert name here) will you marry me?" in burnout script on say... the M4 (make sure it's 3 lanes high) then go out to the local police station and do a few burnouts in front, get the whole station after you in the concord/ strathfield area drive around out running them for about 1/2 an hour (or until sufficent police vehicles and helicopter are chasing you) the hit the M4. speed along the M4 until you come to the message where you should be
1 speeding greatly and...
2 have new tyres...
As you come up to the message move to the shoulder lane make sure that the whole force is close on you tail, as you come to the first letter pull hand brake effectivly underlinning your message timing the stop to be the end of the message as a full stop.
The final product... when you're G/F is watching the news that night she'll see the chase and your car on the M4 before the spectacular underlining of the message and proposal from the police helicopter camera 
She'll be so happy when she comes to bail you out of jail.

I proposed while snorkelling. Actually, I went out earlier in the day and tied an ice cream container lid underwater, with the words, "Will you marry me?". I had the ring tied onto my wrist and tucked into the glove. Had the champagne and glasses in the car and flowers in the esky in the boot.
All went well, even though she did initially ignore the ice cream container lid and nearly swim on by.
Got married a month ago.

Hahaha...you sure can come up with some creative little ideas hey...
If you have an outdoorsish girlfriend and the weather is goodish (i.e coold but not windy/threatened by rain) and u've got a bit of time to play with...go location clues/decipher the letter in a small area of bush or gardens...
for instance with the letter deciphering thingie u could leave clues around like..My First is in William but not in Bill and then think up a few more until u get the whole 'Will U Marry Me' spiel out...
Or u could just do a mini orienteering thing with letters and clues to find the next letter and such...
Or you could just give her a good fucking and say 'after that performance...will u marry me?' but thats kinda hinged on u're performance...so best start practising now

well get one of them and then put the real ring in the plastic container that the shitty ones come in and the put the plastic crappy ring in the nice ring holder whatever they are called and then hold them up to her and ask "which one would u like," i put my money on it she chooses the good looking container..... wont she get a surprise. This would require some planning, and I'm not sure if it would work, but
I know you love your PGR2, so hook up online with some mates, and set your names to be Will, you, marry and me. Then, she might be with you on the couch or whatever when you're playing, and as you guys race around, just make sure you finish in the right order, and go "Hey wow, look at that" and show the leaderboard that says "will you marry me?"
not sure if it work not knowing PGR2 and xblive but would be cool

Hahaha I'm farrrr from married at the tender sweet n sexy age of 19...can't say I donl't envisage being married in the next...5 years, but it'll prolly be a long 5 years for me . I'm guilty of trying to map my life out...
20 - finish degree
21 - initial shit-kicker industry job
23 - advancement thru training (should get my supra / sports car [turbo])
24 - married / house hunting
26 - kids
and thats as far as I've gotten ...should prolly plan some adventurous holiday in there somewhere...but atm, I'm not really the travelling type, so cbf!

Well after procurement there's insurance and rego (custom plates) and then there's the paint, the wheels, the exhaust, the lowering, the engine overhaul after a while...

Well my supra cost me $10k. When I put on wheels, decent exhaust and all that and get it up to about 250rwkw, i reckon it will have cost me 25k all up.
Of course if you want a mkIV then yes, you probably are looking at around that figure. But just go looking for one that has already had all that done to it. I know a mkIV that puts out around 700rwhp and is a beautiful car besides that is being sold for $45k.
