What will you be driving ?
ME : im going !
Ill be driving my St185 Gt4 - with new found Group A lookalikedness and extra Powahs ( new ECU , intercooler , Exhaust )
Looking to put it down the 1/8th mile - it will be my first run!

its supposedly easter long weekend ( 9th - 12th ) In dubbo
waiting on a definate confirmation for it being held from the organising committe, so i can up the timeline for rebuildedness to accomidate a possible highflowed turbo as well
( plus so i can get in early for decent accomidation )

Well, that is just an extimate. But at the moment I am getting 164rwkw.
So fix up the injectors, BOV and all that and I would hope to be getting about 170 or so.
Get a full exhaust system. Should add at least 10-15 (i would hope so).
Get a much bigger FMI, with cold air pipes from driving light holes (hate those "cut-out" fronts). I have it on good authority that as soon as they put a bigger FMI onto their car it got them an extra 40rwhp.
So those three things should bring the total up to around 200rwkw.
Once again these are just estimates......

Last year there were rumours of a 1/4 mile drag strip being ready this year... anyone know if that's happening?

basically all the toyota clubs get together for a huge car show , have drag events - a big social gathering , and hopefully this year - motorkhana
Its a gathering of the best toyotas out there in one spot at one time for all toyota enthusiasts to enjoy and admire
PLUS its heaps of fun - so i hear

Yesits definitely worth it. Its a small enough event that everyone gets to know each other and party together and have a friendly competitive weekend, we all admire what EVERYONE has done with their cars, and yet its big enough that we make an impact on the locals' fords and holdens......
Highlight of last years show'n'shine - a small groups of bogan teenie girls walks into the Autobarn carpark, walks straight over to the green VK with the 1JZ and remark
"Thats not a V8 is it?"
"I dont know whats wrong with this show, but there's no good cars here, they must all be like imports or something..."

that blue stuff is great, we had a bunch of kids, well 18 year olds come in and buy some... next day they came in looking like death warmed up!!!
someone aparantly spilt a shot, and it started to melt the lyno floor....
good shit tho... even comes with its own matches to light ur drinks up!
