leaking injectors?

hey everyone..
just wondering if someone can shed some light on this really annoying problem that i have:
ive been having a really bad hesitation problem with my 4ag every time i change gears--the car jolts like its stalling, its a pretty violent jolt and i have absolutely no idea as to what it could be.
when im absolutely flat-sticking it theres no jolt, and when i'm granny driving (giving it a second between gears) its fine as well.
i thought it was something to do with the pod, so i put the stocky airbox back in and it still does it.
has anyone got any ideas as to what it could be? it seems to me like a fuel problem.. cos at the moment to stop it from doing this every time i upchange i give it a blip of gas as i go through neutral (so its burning the clutch unnecessarily) and it doesnt do it then..
ive been giving it a bit of thought and i think i've come up with an answer..
could it be leaking injectors? cos that would explain why my car runs so unbelievably rich?? so that when i have the gas down in gear, and then when i take my foot off the gas the injectors are still pissing fuel, so that when i change gears and get back onto the gas theres way too much fuel in the cylinders so its momentarily flooded (this is where the car bunnyhops and almost dies), and then when it burns away it starts accelerating again?
please help out with any ideas guys. i've had a few suggestions in my last thread:
*faulty clutch/p-plate
*engine mounts
etc
and i've checked everything and its all good. please help me out guys.
cheers, roman
anyways, any ideas??

Hey, If you do think the problem is injectors you could put replacement one in or you could get the existing injectors cleaned and pulse tested.

On the inlet manifold there is a black plug with 3 lines, 1 to fuel pressure regulater, 1 to map sensor and a spare for god knows what. Make sure their not leaking at all otherwise your map sensor sends the wrong signal to the ecu.
Also check to see if the tps isnt out of wack, and check timing, make sure the dizzy isnt a couple of teeth out.
These are a few of the dramas i had with my motor a little while back.

I very much doubt it's leaking injectors, but more a fuel metering problem. Leaking injectors are shown up by letting the car stand for a long period of time (at least a couple of hours), where the fuel pressure behind the injectors drop and must be reinstated before the injectors pulse enough to start the motor - you will know this by the fact that the engine will crank for a second or so while building up pressure, then start. If you shut the engine off and then restart it there and then, it will start immediately as the pressure is still sufficient for the injectors to work. I'd suggest your AFM will need adjustment if the motor is running rich, among other things. This will be a simple adjustment of the spring tension.

On the side of the Throttle body is a Dash Pot that slows down the throttle and stops it from closing too quickly.
This would certainly cause the hesitation type problems.
To adjust it :
Hold throttle at 3,000 Rpm
Pinch off air Hose to the Dash Pot
Close throttle.
Engine speed should be 1,800 Rpm.
Adjust as required.
