ok, heres what (i think) i know. i know you can go the other way (with mofication), i know the ports are the same, and i know there are 2 lugs that are differant. what i am wanting to know is if the flange on the 20v headers can be modified to work with a 16v head. or even possibly, although to my mind this is alot less desireable, modify the 16 head to work with the 20v headers. as far as the runners, i can fairly easily and cheaply modify these, as i have a tig welding friend. cheers for any input.
even if someone has a 16v out of a car in the brisbane area, i might be able to borrow the set from the seller to check.
p.s, these are intended to be fitted to a small port motor, though i am under the impression this doesnt make any differance, as the exhaust ports are the same?

The ports are exactly the same. It is only the two outside studs that need notching.
They should work a treat, pretty good looking extractors from the factory.

thats what i thought, my only concern is whether once the new holes are drilled, if theyll foul on the runners, or if theres enough material in the 20v flange to drill a new hole. what i need to know is the outter 2 studs that are moved, are they futher out on the 16v head, or further in, and by about how much?
