Alright, I guess some of us have done it. I just want to know how other people do it or are there any tips that people use.
There's a nice ta22 (or might be ta23) around the corner from me and i want to ask the guy who owns it, if i can buy it.

Don't hassle old people driving Crowns. Thats my domain. If you see it in a driveway just drop a letter or card in the box. 14 mths after I did this I got a call from someone who eventually decided to sell. I just had to remember what he was selling.
Did have an old couple freak out when I knocked on their window at the lights and asked to buy their car. They actually ran a red light to get away from me.

i went to leave a note on a sprinter i had my eye on for a while but it was stolen before i got to it, left a note on a imaculate sprinter and the guy rings me the next day, made an offer, he said no, added anothr $1000, said no, added another $1000 and so on... went WAY over what a stock sprinters worth and way over what i would pay for a second sprinter and he still said no. bottom line he was just a fuckwit and i got bored once we got past $5K and said goodbye.
