Does that mean that I should convert my MA61 with a 3S-GTE motor , instead of the 2JZ-GTE?
Cheers

If you want to race in the JGTC...which would be the only reason power wise you would
As for not chucking a 1GGTE in, they have more money than us mere mortals, and the length of the 3S is one of the primary reasons they use it (aside from being lighter)

JGTC use v8's now because the non turbo has better power delivery and they got sick of loosing to the nsx's. The 3s is to get 50/50 weight distrubition. One of the nz videos has that car in it when option mag did their top speed race in nz. Pretty insane car.

since when were the NSX's dominant in JGTC?
when Wayne Gardner was racing the Supra a couple of years back, he came second in the championship.

Worse, T88 is about the biggest single car turbo you can get.

there are three different t88's.
I think the HKS T51r is about the same size as the t88H-34d.
the new t88 GK i think it is called is bigger than the H.
also, there is the Turbonetics Y2K which is pretty damn big!

Bzzt, wrong answer That car uses a Trust T88-34D (don't think it was the highflow version from memory). You call it a waste, but they did it as a tribute to the JGTC cars of the time using 3SGTE's.

Not that most of the parts were also actually from Garage SPL in Fukui? Meaning that many of the parts were designed for use in MR2's.........shame the t88 would be touching the drivers back though.
