I'm looking for a timing belt, main bearings, conrod bearings, possibly 5th gear synchro's, etc. More to come soon as the 3S-GTE get storn down for a rebuild.

is this a gen3 3sgte? (post oct '93) i can get most parts (timing belt not for a few months though) gan get a vrs kit for the 3sgte as well.

Umm, hard to tell. This is a Japan-run ST205 which has no indications of a year model. It was imported from Japan by JustJap and I bought it from them.
Would the engine number have any indicators of a production year?

if its a 205 its a gen3 lucky bugger.... bet way to tell if the rocket cover if its a got hums for the oil and then onenext to it then the rest of the cover is relitivly flat its gen 2 and then if the rocket cover is more groved and large humps its a gen 3 also the gen 3 comes with a black oil catch can standard... best ways to tell also gen 3 map sensor ie there is no afm attached to the air filter! iof there is one gen 2
