ra40 diff and front struts into a ta23 Wed, 07 January 2004 09:18 Go to next message
I have a ta23 and was wondering how much better the struts and brakes out of a ra40 would be as to my ta23 ones. How much is involved in fitting the diff and front end out of the ra40 into the ta23. will i get much gains over the standard ta23 stuff.

not sure about the diff but I know the struts bolt right in, they also give bigger brakes too, but then you need to have a minimum of 14" wheels on the front.

If its just the diff centre it will fit, both being a T series, but if its the entire rear axle, drum to drum, not likely no, as the suspension mounting brackets do not line up and the axle is longer than the original set-up in the '23.
Cheers,
Mitch.
