i need to find the colour or position of the taco wire in my 2.2ltr 97 camry.
just the plugs behind the dash

any1 got any ideas

Rozz,


It would help if we knew what you needed this info for ?

I assume the vehicle is a SXV20R.

There is a Black with Orange Trace wire which comes out of the Meter and goes to Engine ECU/Cruise control ECU/ Check connector.


This should be the wire at pin 8 on the Brown Connector.( Look straight at the end that plugs in and count 8 across)


This comes out of the Engine ECU as "Tach" signal.


Always check with a Multimeter first just to make sure ?

it is for a shift light
but i cant be fucked doing it myself so i just booked it in at the auto elec its only 30 bucks or so safer then fucking my car up doing it myself
so dont worry about it
