Gday I would think it would be more along the lines of high 16s as I do know people with these engines in the same car with quite a bit of work done to them and they can only pull mid to high 16s, wich I think is still a quick time and plenty of fun on the streets. Good luck with it.

When I had a stock RG in my 72 it would run high 16s. but it had a 2 1/2 exh. Now I have another build RG Stock 40m carbs 304/288 cams 92 mm bore 10.5 forged piston and it has run 15.3s at 88mph.

My car should run high to mid 14's. If I put some slicks, LSD, 45mm webers, and a aftermarket ignition.

ummm i was just mucking around in my celica, and with a fat assed mate in the front and spare set of wheels in the back we were timing 1/4 miles at low seventeens, only mods are 2 inch exhaust and cams, but it was out of tune and apparently i need to get the shims ground so the cams work (?)
yeah its a bit of a mess at the moment, but good fun anyway. always fun seeing the look on na silvia driver's faces when i beat them muahaha
