Where can i get my AirConditioner Re-gassed in Sydney??

Hi,
Just like to know if anybody knows, any places in sydney you can recommend to get the airconditioner re-gassed, because as you sydney people know its been damn hot lately .

R12 air conditioning gas has been banned for a few years now, as you know. One suggestion might be to get on the good books of a wrecker that will let you know when he wrecks a car with the R12 gas. The local mobile air cond guy might be nice enough to go there, extract the gas and re-charge yours.
That would be the only way I would know of to get it. I think all the R12 people 'stockpiled' would be all gone by now.
Failing that, what is the conversion to R134a worth? I was told that it is less than $400, however I do not know.

Whats that about?, i dont know if i have the old gas or not, how do you findout?

That's interesting. I asked an auto elec a while ago what they did to "convert" to new gas and i cant remember exactly what he said. New filter type, something something, but no it didn't sound like that much.
