The detail's I forwarded to a friend in the car industry: he told me they were the wrong numbers and the prices are wrong. Best bet would be to go to ANY speed performance shop and ask to see an earls catalogue and\or see what they can do.
Just e-mail them and post up what they say. Don't everybody do it, just one person. Maybe one day Toymods will get a reference section, and it can go there.

In case you get the same info, this is what I got for Toyota 4AG: I guess take as idea of what is what. The Sandwich Adaptor is our part no 517, a billet item at $57.75. The Bypass is again billet, $66.00. A suitable (non billet) filter remote mount would be 2177 which takes the Ford type Z9 filter and is $35.06. Of which some is WRONG

with a 7m there are a few of ways you can do it..
1, get the center (filter) nut from the 7m-ge fit that then goto ANY speed shop and get a relocation kit for a ford (Z9 filter) and then fit an oil cooler take off from a earlyer crown/corona MK2. that gets rid of that ugly ugly bit of rightangle gear off the 7m-gte
2, as above only attach it to the ugly rightangle bit and leave oil cooler setup as above
3, Cheap and neat way with the engine out remove the sump, block the feed gallery just before the filter, get a fitting attached to that little plate with M stamped on it and one to the center hole where the filter normaly mounts to the block, then just get the remote mount part for 1 or 2 z9 filters (about $50 from a speed shop for the 2 filter one if you want a bit more oil in the system)

Anyone know where I could find one for a 1J ? They have put it in the worst position which is ridiculously hard to reach (either from above or under the car).

Ford and Chrysler V8 adaptors fit. Try speedshops for these as they are cheap.

Paul,
Go to Earl's. Thats where I went for mine. They are very helpful, just remember to take a filter so that can match up the size.
Oh and when putting it on remember to match the 'in' pipe on the filter base to the 'in' marked on the block base and the 'out' pipes to the 'out' as marked. As we put them the wrong way and had no oil pressure.
This is the exact parts list with prices as of 29 DEC 99 when I bought them. for the 7MGTE engine.
Code Description qty price Total 1177 Bypass adaptor ford 3/4x16 1 $33.52 33.52 2177 Remote filter braket 3/4x16 1 $33.52 33.52
982210 Adaptor 90 Al-10 to 1/2npt 1 $29.55 29.55 922110 swiv adapt 90-10m to 1/2npt 1 $46.13 46.13 700111 superstock H/end-10straight 4 $50.80 50.80 981610 Adaptor Str AL-10 to 1/2npt 2 $17.20 17.20 740010 5/8 Superstock hose 5 $48.17 48.17
Total: $258.89 This was the prices back in 99 so it may have changed.

Yeah, I saw Ray's new supra last Thursday night. Looks awsome, The stainless steel exhaust system and muffler is very nice indeed.
The intercooler setup is the pretty much the same as what I'm geting made up. Should be put in the car hopefully some time next week.
How's your hand?
Cheers, Darren
