hey guys, just got a question on a set simmons f90 wheels i saw for sale, fronts are 16x6.5" and rears 16x8". the wheels came off a TA22 with a shortened hilux diff. my question is, would 8 inch fit a stock TA diff? or is it just impossible?
note: my rear arches have been rolled.
thanks, john.

If they're the same set I saw for sale with a 25mm outset, I very much doubt it. I've had 16x8 F90's on the back of my RA28, shod with 245/45/16 Pirelli's. My guards are also rolled extremely tight, and they still rubbed on the guard with suspension movement, with my car not overly lower than standard. The outset of these wheels was 5mm.

245 sounds wide for 8"
you can have 215 or 225 on 8" so maybe that would make them function with less rubbing? where did you find the wheels John? Was a guy named Micheal selling them?
