Hi everyone,
I have a friend that needs to adjust the screw on their GZE AFM to factory specs while we are troubleshooting it. I have the pages with the instructions from the engine manual, but I cant make out what I'm meant to do with the Vf pin from the diagnostic block at 2500rpm... if anyone out there could translate the following pages it would be greatly appreciated.

I can also scan any other section of the complete toyota workshop manual if anyone requires it and can translate the relevant bits.

what is the engine doin
the airflow wont make much difference
when u turn the screw all u hear is idle go up and down
turn it till idle comes up and is steady
if its not doin this the problem is elsewhere
unless u have adjusted the spring inside the airflow

It's not my car, but the owner want's to set it properly and the procedure is there if someone can read it...
So far the owner has changed:
1. AFM
2. CAS
3. TPS
4. O2 sensor
5. VSV's
6. FPR
7. Supercharger
8. timing
9. ABV
10. Fuel and Air Filters
And a bunch of other stuff too which I cant recall...
The conversion was done in 1997, and ran perfectly until about the last year or so.
The ECU was logging a code for the TPS so I adjusted that properly, and his CAS was on the way out. There was also a leak on the supercharger outlet which has all been fixed now, but the car still runs like an absolute dog all through the rev range. The charger is making 7psi of manifold pressure but it feel's weaker than a 100kw.
So basically I've just come into the equation and we're starting from basics.

the adjustment screw on the AFM is basically a air bypass, it will mostly only adjust fuel ratio at idle.
when i get back home again later i'll look in my 'english' version manual and see if they say about adjusting it.
