Freak you mean the T from the ECU to the diagnostics plug?
different colour to the 88kw but should follow the exact same path.

Freak well in my wiring diagram T goes from the diagnostics box directly to the ECU. E1 though is tee'd into another wire before it goes to the ECU, E1 is just an earth though.

as i said before this is for a 88kw aw11 bigport motor, so i dont know if it's 100% the same for yours.
my diagram shows T as a white wire and E1 as brown.

where does the white wire go to after it hits the diagplug coming from the ecu, im pretty sure it changes colour and heads to a part of the engine.

from the ECU, the wire goes to the diagnostics connector. Nowhere else....

BUT - also on your diagnostics connector should be an earth terminal.... the idea being that to utilise the diagnotics function (either for engine codes, timing etc) you simply short the diagnotics pin to earth using the "special service tool 45" (ie a paperclip)

What is your reason for asking this question?

trying to accurately adjust the timing. i've tried shorting it at the ecu by plugging a wire into the T terminal to the brown wire and also the the (-) of the battery. i didnt notice anything, no rpm drop...etc

my car was converted from 4ac and when the conversion was done the person did not wire up a diagnostic plug

thanks
