wheres my fuel filter?

hey guys
never done this before so im unaware of where to locate my fuel filter on a 96 wiedebody camry (3vz-fe)??
is it at the rear (boot) of the car? or engine bay?
any help appreciated

From memory, it's bolted to the firewall just in front of where the front passengers' legs would be (terrible description). I vaguely remember searching for mine when I had a '96 Vienta.
It should be somewhere near where the wiring loom enters the cabin under the bonnet.

Stick your head under the car and follow the fuel lines, its there somewhere.
Perhaps turbocamry will no?

ahh soarer i think i see what you're talking about
black cyliner with lines going to it marked with 'tank' 'purge'
now has anyone had dealings with changing the filter in one of these?

No that will be the charcol canister.
I think it's under that from memory and a real pain in the arse to change to.Esp if the person before has rounded of the nuts.
