Maybe your shocks are shot?

Is it lowered? The pinion angle will be all wrong if so. In which case you might want to look at adjustable trailing arms and traction brackets.

I've commented on this one before... do a search Evil or Very Mad Actually, just order the adjustable arms and 'traction brackets' from whiteline - solves the axle tramp, improves the handling, worth every cent! Although you COULD make similiar parts if you're good at that kind of thing, and save some $ Evil or Very Mad

my car is sitting about 10-20mm from the bump-stops with 205's at the rears and i don't have any problems even with the standard worn shocks.. i dunno, maybe your problem could be something else?

Traction brackets and adjustable trailing arms are just some of the stuff you'll need to fix your car after you've lowered it.

The trailing arms are the 4 arms you have holding the diff housing in place. You really only need to put 2 adjustable ones on, one on each side. Lower or upper.

Traction brackets change the mounting point of the trailing arm on the diff to bring it back somewhere closer to factory geometry. The adjustable trailing arms lets you bring the pinion angle back to factory also.

Yeah it's all quite important for a good handling car.

How do you find the hilux diff? I'd have thought in a 900kg car it's a hell of a lot of added unsprung weight.

At the moment the front is too low with 16's and wheels scrub when pushed hard so havn't checked the handling too much yet.

Its got a 1g in it so overall its a bit heavier anyway.

In the wet it gets sideways without any wouncing, but launching it bounces HEAPS

when it was low at the back the diff use to hit under the car... OUCH

It launches good though Smile not use to this power and an LSD
4000k drop and BOOM
I looked back to a taxi wanting to race and he was a mile back, shocked me
