not in oz
the hardcore corolla folks will be able to answer this better, have heard of a te27 but never a te30.

the 2TG is a 1600cc twin overhead cam (chain driven) engine.

the first letter of the chassis code is also the engine code... so your *K*e30 rolla will have a K series engine.

no KE30, in any country on the planet, was released with a 2T motor.

TE3X on the other hand...

go to google, type "TE37" into the search line, then hit return or the 'search' button.

as was said before, go to

"johnny rochester's page"
ask him.

2TG are becoming quite hard to come by in Jap Import wreckers and alike, and as a result of this, the average going rate for a 2TGEU EFI engine is about $1250-$1500, when sourced from a import wreckers...
