4age Help Needed!!!

My 4age bigport wont start...
Fuel is working
Spark is working
Compression is low (from 100-130psi but on a cold engine)
Spark plugs are fouled
Before the engine stopped,it was running rich, and had absolutely no power.
I'm thinking that the valve seals are gone, but would this cause the plugs to foul? About a month ago the plugs where in good condition, and the compression was about 140 again on a coldish engine with push down compression tester, not a screw type.
Any ideas?
I am going to take the head off and have a look at it. Luckily I have a complete 100kw engine that I can swap parts with...

Even if the valve seals were gone it'd still start.
How are you checking you have fuel? Have you confirmed the injectors are actually firing?

I've checked the fuel is flowing from the fuel line...
However the injectors must be firing because you can smell the fuel from the exhaust.
You can also see/smell the fuel on the plugs
Could fouled plugs cause this?

Yeah if the plugs were wet and fouled enough could cause this.
And spark, I assume you've put a spark plug on the end of one of the hitension leads to check?

Have you checked timing?
If its got fuel and spark.. No reason it shouldn't start really. Unless of course the ecu is doing something silly and completely flooding the engine.

If there is fuel on the plugs it is likely the spark plug is not firing under compression conditions in the cylinder. Can you get hold of another coil to try to see if the current coil is stuffed ? Could also try new plugs.
