does the speed cut work from the gearbox sender?

My speedo is out now and says 60 when i am doing 50. So would this mean that my speed cut would come on at 180 when i am actually doing about 150?

Is this a JZA70? The speed cut works from the dash speed signal.. which comes from the gearbox sender.. so yes.

jzx90 engine in a corona.

looks like a better get the speedo calbrated quick! this should fix the problem right?
