These things have been around for years! They are commonly fitted to big inboard boat engines! From memory they were'nt for any performance aspect either! I think they were just to help suck clean air down long lengths of pipe from the front of the boat!

I seriously suggest you read the review on them at Autospeed. In summary, they do nothing but restrict air flow. In reality they are nothing more than cheapo little computer fans.

Thanks people, juss the response I needed.
I had to convince a friend (who shall remain nameless), that they werent held in high regard amongst the automotive community.
No really, I was just joking! Anyhow, why would you pruchase an electronic turbocharger when you can get sikk LED's for your windscreen squirters, and put a 12inch tip on. Thats about 28kw's there alone.
Thankyee jimbo

ha - heap of poo
all those things do is create a swirling effect to mix the air and fuel a little different as far as i know - making it a little more efficient to burnthan direct suck in
still its crap - not worth the effort .. as for the rice factor - a Ralliart or Nismo sticker provides more powergains

I had a broken old leaf blower I was gonna try using as an electric turbo, but when I pulled it apart to fix it it ended up being unfixable. It would have been an interesting experiment, it did pump a bit of air when it was working. It wouldn't have been much good at high revs, but, like I said, it would have been interesting....... Anyone got an old 'lectric leaf blower lying around, not being used?

EKW in East Keilor actually sell these. I think they're around $495 believe it or not.
Reviews of these have been done in days gone by and, well, the results were not very convincing
