expression of interest - ta22 fitted full rollcage Tue, 13 January 2004 15:14 Go to next message
i was wondering if anyone would be interested in a rollcage for their celica... i had it for sale on here a while ago, only the buyer never picked it up, so it's for sale again...

it's an aluminium frame, and it goes through the entire car (ta22 only)... it fits a checker plate on the parcel shelf (included), and i am missing only the bolts for it (should b easy to get)

if there is enough interest i will get a camera organised and post some pics

thanks

Hey, I've had my last 22 tramping under compression lock gearing down into second on more than one occasion in the twisty broken bitumen playground on the far side of Cockatoo! Don't go making assumptions! ARGH

Rolling Eyes

does this cage make the back seats unusable? and does it restrict the space inside the car?

i'll get my hands on a friends digital cam tomorrow and with luck i'll have pics by the end of the night for u guys to check it out...

price wise: i'm not too sure what these things go for, so yeah... i duno, take a look and tell me what you guys would be fine with paying.

i'll give them to the highest bidder.. hows that.

last guy who bought it but didn't pick it up, jumped on them at $250 when i last had them for sale... if that is any indication.

back seats are still fully useable... yet some space will be taken up...

the cage runs down the front pillars, down the side where the centre pillar bar is and contours the roof across the centre and down to the parcel shelf... if that description helps...

poles just slot together... could be a bit fiddly initally, but there shouldn't be much trouble at all, just gotta figure out what should go in first...

also... you will need to bolt the two front and two centre poles into the floor of you car... just so you know.

my thoughts exactly. in and out of a full cage is not fun.

Re: expression of interest - ta22 fitted full rollcage Fri, 23 January 2004 12:58 Go to previous messageGo to next message
yeah guys.. that's easily done...

obviously you'd want the centre bar... whether u want the front half or the back half i don't know, but it doesn't matter...

the centre bar has four bracket type things that wrap around the pole and bolt tight together when the rest of the cage is attached... if you don't want it then simply slide it off and you would never know it was meant to have more to it...

however i will still give the entire cage, never know u might change your mind one day and want a full one or u may want to re-sell it yourselves...

also, to answer another person's question, no there are no scratches or damaged parts on it. the parcel shelf is cut maybe a little uneven around the edges, but it's very strong.

so far i have an offer of $150...

HIGHEST BIDDER BY LATE TUESDAY NIGHT (EST.) CAN HAVE THEM...

i have been flodded with a few bids today...

to date the bids have gone like this:

richard: $150
T APLUS 22: $175
richard: $180
bman: $190
T APLUS 22: $190
kingswood: $190

i've posted the current bids, so everyone can see how it's progressing and you will then know what you are willing to bid next...

also, can all further bids be placed in this actual forum, therefore you can see other people's bids and know what the bid's are up to currently... especially since at 12:00pm tonight will be when i conclude this item, regardless of what the current bid is... a bid placed after that time will be ignored...

thanks guys
happy bidding.

p.s i will be online by at least 11:00 tonight on msn messenger if anyone wishes to speak to me about either thier bids or the cage.

my messenger email is: chutz_pah@graffiti.net
