Hey guys, I'm looking at selling my Soarer, just seeing if there's much interest.
Here's the low down at the moment..
I bought the car a year ago at auction in japan and shipped it over. It came with lowered springs, deep dish 17's, and 97 spec rear lights. Mechanically it had a cat back 4" into twin 3" system with a resonator and muffler on each pipe.
Since then it has received:
High flowed turbos (see below)
R32 GT-R Front mount intercooler
K&N Pod filter with kevlar heat shroud
MASSIVE auto trans cooler
Bleed valve
The turbos were high flowed using steel exhaust wheels from CT9 starlet turbos, and the exhaust housings machined out to suit. The wastegate springs were replaced with stiffer items to suit higher boost. They have been tested up to 17psi, but haven't been boosted on the engine past 1bar. They give the same sort of spool time as the regular CT12's, giving just a tiny bit more lag, but hammer hard past 10psi and want to keep pulling.
Car has only been driven on weekends over the past 2 months since new turbos (due to new job).
The car is about to get a set of twin 3" dump pipes off each turbo, after which the car will be expected to run a sub 13.5s 1/4. These pipes are included in the sale and are valued at $800!
The car has done 124,000km's but most of it was done here in Perth as it was a business car. It has received a 100,000km service in Perth by Precise Auto's, and more than regular servicing at intervals of around 2 months.
As it came from japan, with original turbos, and cat back exhaust system, the car ran a 14.1s 1/4, showing the engine was very fresh and pulled very hard. It pulled 242hp at the rears with the same mods on the Genie dyno. It has not run yet with the new turbos, but I am hoping to do a run once the dump pipes are in, if the new owner doesn't mind
The car comes with a Sony XPLOD cd deck, and a 15" sub in the boot.

I am asking $19,000 including the original airbox, and intercooler, should you need it for any reason!

*BUMP*
Good luck with the sale, mate. Sure sounds sweet. Just curious: who did the turbos & dump pipes for you? And about how much did the turbo hi-flowing cost? I'm also in Perth and have a 1JZ - hence curiosity.
cheers,
Justin

my mate is making a jig for the dump pipes and will be able to reproduce them in semi-mass amounts for a low price, if your interested I can forward your details to him..
the turbos cost over $3000, but I would be willing to part with them for around $2000 should I decide to turn the car back to semi-stock to help sell it
they have 1 year warranty also
