AE86 whiteline kit. your thoughts? Wed, 14 January 2004 02:58 Go to next message
Hi, just wondering if you have used the whiteline sports or works suspension kit on your ae86.
What are your thoughts on it?
These kits are not easily adjustable are they? (internal adjustment).
Please let me know what you think of them.

Alot of people have whiteline parts, but I don't know of any one with the full kit.

I have 27mm front and 20mm(i think) rear sway bars on my 86. These work really well and stopping body roll, and stiffen up cornering very well.

I aquired the works kit, cost me about $2100 and was delivered to my door in about 3 weeks. The springs are firm, not crashy, the swaybars give awsome grip and the whole shebang lowers the car about an inch, it looks just smick. I'd say it was the best couple of grand I've spent on it so far.

a little off opic , but i got a " works" kit for the Gt4 ..

the package was very well made , and as mentuioned before - GREATLY improved the gt4's handling and feedback , and just about cured its understeer and twitchy rear end issues ..

ive been VERY happy ith it - they put alot of research into finding the " ideal " package for they " real handling " series

Ive also got the works kit, and as said before its the best improvment to the car yet.

I'd highly recommend it, for the price anyway.

The prices on the site arn't accurate. My setup cost, from memory, $2,084 including shipping & handling. You basically ring them up, tell them what you want, they give you some banking details, you deposit the money into their account, fax them your bank reciept & the make up the package & ship it to you.
