CTP is generally unwanted business by insurance companies.
It is acutally a legal requirement that all general insurers offer it.. as such they all try to price themselves out of the market because they don't actually make any money off it.

i believe the newer the car and older u are, the cheaper greenslip is....
(aside...when u sell a car, what happens with greenslip - do u cancel and get a refund ?!?!?!)

i think if u go with nrma for 3rd party and greenslip it works out to be slightly cheaper if u get separate companies for greenslip and 3rd party.

Haha, owned. Our CTP insurance is through the Dept. of Primary Industries (Transport). Mine came to like $270 for 6 months including my rego. GF's new Matiz is less cos the engine is smaller.

QLD CTP has only recently been deregulated, and has gone up every quarter since.
My rego is just shy of $700/year now including CTP.
