FS: front mount intercooler setup for AE86 *SOLD* Wed, 14 January 2004 11:00 Go to next message
Selling my FMIC setup for a AE86 4AGZE.

Includes:

  • GT4 air/air intercooler (modified inlet and outlet)
  • inlet and outlet pipes (routed on the drivers side below the headlight and under the front support) with mounting brackets


Asking $250 (+ postage if your not in Melbourne)

NOTE: Price does not include modified inlet manifold pipe or modified SC outlet pipe as seen below.

Hi,

I have not been able to find a clear picture on the car so here is one of the components. Pipes are in their respective locations.

I also have a modified outlet from the SC (pointing towards the front of the car) and a modified inlet manifold pipe (also pointing towards the front of the car).

Width is 350mm and Height is 325mm and Depth 50mm.

Speaking from my AE92 it should be reasonably responsive. I have a LARGE alloy fmic (600x300x70) and it has a bit of lag in it, about 1/2s. But i also have a lot of pipework.
This is a LOT shorter, and should be pretty decent.

I found it very responsive. I also had a cusco crank pulley, 4-1 extractors and the smaller AE101 SC pulley.

The picture below doesnt really show the IC mount more the intake outlet:
