Every get one of those emails from Nigeria offering you a percentage of US$25M or there abouts? I've gotten a few of them now, they're actually quite funny. Anyway, here's how one guy responded, it's a crackup:

That's a classic. first time I've read about someone going all the way with one of those scams.
I remember the ANZ putting customer notices up in all the branches a few years back warning people about scams of this sort from the "central bank of Nigeria". never received any copy myself at the time.
we get plenty of lower level tries in our mail here though, usually from France or Great Britain (what makes it great btw? ). these guys aren't nearly as greedy as "Abbas",they usually want $40 for "handling fees" and such,before they'll supposedly release up to $200,000 to you. stuff like this keeps our paper recyclers in business...
