3sge afm to map Thu, 15 January 2004 16:46 Go to next message
I will convert my 1st gen 3sge tvis AFM to MAP. i will be using the 2nd gen ecu to convert it. My 3sge is in RT132 corona rwd. The afm is to bulky so i decided to use map sensor.
i know it will run and i must disable the tvis bec. the ecu has no trigger for the tvis

is anybody here done it? what is the effect?
any comments on this? Very Happy

Give wolfEMS a call - they have doen a few 3sge swaps as far as i know in later model MR2's so they should know what ECU to run and what would need to be changed .

They are swapping my AFM 3sgte to map when they install my new ECU in a few weeks , so i cant see why they cant do it for a 3sge.

From what I know, Gen 2 is still AFM. Gen 3's had the MAP sensor in it.

The MR2T rear cut that I had with the Gen 2 was still AFM

Cheers
